When I set out to design SUZI thongs, I wasn’t just trying to make another piece of underwear like everything else out there—I was trying to redesign what it means to care for yourself as a woman. They’re either overly frilly and uncomfortable, overly synthetic and bad for your health, or simply designed without women’s real bodies or needs in mind.

SUZI thongs use feminine V-shaped and U-shaped waistbands, which are naturally more flattering to the curves of a woman’s body. They follow how most women already pull their underwear—angled up, not straight across—and the result is a shape that looks beautiful and feels even better.

And here's something radical: we eliminated elastic bands in our seam construction altogether. That means no pinching, no digging, and no tight bands that leave uncomfortable marks. They're especially great for pregnancy, when your belly is more sensitive and needs comfort above all.

Most thongs are made from synthetic fabrics—AKA plastic—which trap heat, breed bacteria, and are harmful to both your body and the environment. While cotton is far better, it's still not perfect: cotton is rougher on the skin and breaks down fast.
